Goodstart Preston - Regent Street

Goodstart Early Learning Preston is a licensed 99 place early learning centre, situated in a prime location near High Street Preston and within walking distance of Regent Railway Station.

Our dedicated educators deliver a nurturing and engaging curriculum for all ages

• We have many qualified, highly experienced and friendly educators that have been with our centre for many years and are here to help with any enquiries you may have. They are dedicated to providing professional, personal and high-quality care to the children and their families in a warm and nurturing environment.
• We provide fun and educational programs – all based on the Early Years Learning Framework - that encourage and enhance children in all key areas of learning. Children are provided with a diverse range of cultural experiences and our educators encourage an inclusive environment. We have a Parent Involvement Policy where we appreciate parent input and involvement within our child care centre. Our Early Childhood Teacher provides a funded kindergarten program for children aged 4-5 years, Monday - Friday.
• We also offer weekly programs that are run by our fabulous team, we do music programs, sports program, language programs and an art program. Our sustainability officer will also be running monthly classes with the children teaching them the importance of sustainability. 
• At Regent Street the children will experience different types of incursions that will be held at the service and excursions where the children will go on different adventures throughout the year.
• We focus on a holistic approach to care and understand the importance of nutritious and delicious meals for growing children. All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied!

Our environments are inspired by nature

• Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with a Balinese Hut, large climbing frames, sandpits, cubby houses, vegie patches with compost, outdoor decking, a slide and lots of shade, mud pits and so much more.
• We have carefully designed and planned indoor spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.  

Families and community are the heartbeat of our centre 

• Our Storypark platform, open door policy and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
• Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Our curriculum is learning through play so providing our children with a vast majority of wonderful learning experiences will help each child reach their milestones at their own pace.
