Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I’m proud to be the Centre Director at Goodstart Warnbro South.
I’ve been working in Early Childhood Education since 2006, but my passion for working with children began much earlier. As a little girl, I always imagined myself becoming a teacher—or at one point, even a veterinarian (though I quickly realised that one wasn’t quite for me!). What truly captured my heart was the joy and purpose I found in early education.
After completing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education, I began building a strong foundation in the sector—learning, growing, and deepening my understanding of how children develop, learn, and connect with the world. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with families, children, educators, and our wider community.
I started my career as a lead educator, which allowed me to develop my skills in programming meaningful learning experiences and supporting children’s growth in all developmental areas. As my journey continued, I embraced leadership roles such as Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Safety Officer, and now Centre Director.
Each role has helped shape the educator and leader I am today—giving me a clear vision of the kind of centre I want to lead: one where children, families, and educators feel valued, supported, and inspired.
Becoming a mother myself added a powerful new perspective to my work. I often ask myself, “What kind of centre would I want my own children to be a part of?” This question fuels my commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment where children feel secure and confident to explore, take risks, make messes, and, most importantly, have fun.
At Goodstart Warnbro South, we believe a childcare centre is more than just a place—it’s a community. A place where children are encouraged to become the best versions of themselves, where learning is guided by curiosity, compassion, and play. Every moment counts, and the first five years of a child’s life lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and wellbeing.
