We offer Japanese language classes on Fridays and yoga sessions on Tuesdays for both our Toddler and Kindergarten groups.

Our purpose built centre provides much-needed care for local families. Featuring six large and spacious learning spaces over two levels and a separate nursery sleep room, the centre provides a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment.
All age-based learning spaces have direct access to our outdoor nature-based designed play space, with sensory gardens, pebbled creek beds, tee pees, pergola, digging patch and two large sandpits. Our beautiful outdoor dining hub provides a dedicated space for meals with our onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows our cook to serve and engage our children in cooking and preparing meals.
As part of our incursion program, every Tuesday our toddlers and kindergarten children participate in yoga lessons provided by Zoe from Kids Yoga, to teach our children mindfulness and calm.
Our family lounge is also available for our families to access during our opening hours - we welcome our families to take a moment to enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.
Yes we offer a state approved funded kindergarten program.
At Goodstart Caulfield we recognise the value of multilingualism. We offer weekly Japanese language lessons to our kindergarten children. We believe that learning a new language can help them develop a greater appreciation for diverse cultures and foster a sense of community.

Hi, my name is Archana Goswami and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Caulfield.
Welcome to Goodstart Caulfield!
My name is Archana Goswami, and I have the honour of leading our multi-cultural and homely community here in Caulfield, on the land of the Boonwurrung/Bunurong and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people. With 15 years of experience in early childhood education and care, I'm deeply passionate about creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique potential.
My background
I began my journey in New Zealand as an Early Childhood Teacher which ignited my passion for early learning. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge and understanding learning programs, open ended environments, meaningful interactions, respectful relationships and cultural values.
My early childhood philosophy
I believe in respectful relationships that allow families and children to feel comfortable. For me, it's all about children be aware of and involved in the outside world.
