Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre - Cochrane Street is a 60-place center, located in a residential community in Brighton. Conveniently positioned just a short walk from Brighton North train station for families who commute to work.

Our service offers 4 carefully planned for environments that are purposefully set based on extending our children’s current interests. We use the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards to guide our daily programing and practice.

We have a qualified and cheerful on-site chef who cooks using tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients to cook fresh meals daily, catering to any necessary dietary requests or requirements.

We pride ourselves on our deep, nurturing and empowering relationships with children.

The powerful theory of attachment guides our educators in building secure connections with each individual child. Partnering with our families and wider community, together our team ensure that our children’s first 5 years of education, their most important, are that of a success.

Hello, I’m Jennifer and I am the new Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Brighton Cochrane Street.

I have been in the early learning sector since 2013 and I hold a Diploma in Children’s services.

I am passionate about giving more opportunities to children to facilitate better and more powerful outcomes for the best start in their educational journey. I thrive on doing my best to provide high quality education and care for all the children at our Early Learning Centre. I always make sure that the operation of the service is running professionally effective to benefit the children and the families in our care. This is their home away from home.

I believe the environment plays a major role in the success of an early childhood program. It should enhance the children’s interests in all developmental domains. I believe that the environment should take into consideration the social skills, communication skills, physical abilities or challenges, and learning styles of the children being served.

I am very proud of our team here at Goodstart Early Learning Brighton and the way we are always striving to improve and empower our children to become Holistic Learners.
