Goodstart Early Learning Blackmans Bay is located in close proximity to shops and schools. It is also only five minutes from Kingston, 10 minutes from Margate and 20 minutes from Hobart. It is located only two minutes in from the main Channel Highway which traffic passes through to go to Kingston, Hobart and Margate.

The centre is not on a main road and has good fencing which gives excellent safety appeal. The centre has been open for four years. It is beautifully stocked with educational toys and equipment which is all supported by a purpose built centre. We also have some lovely natural resources including tyres and logs which we have added to make a fun and exciting playground.

Hello, my name is Kylie, your Centre Director for Blackmans Bay.

I have been in the Early Childhood Education sector for approximately 11 years and spent two years as the Assistant Director at Goodstart North Hobart, before accepting the Centre Director position at Blackmans Bay in early 2021.

I enjoy working with educators and families to create a supportive and inclusive centre that allows children to grow and develop in their own way. I believe we engage children’s curiosity through creating positive learning experiences that support their interests and enthusiasm.

I have one fur baby Koko, who is a Shar Pei, and a 4 ½ year old Nephew who I love to spoil! I enjoy spending time with my family, catching up with friends, and going shopping.

I am excited to work with you and your child to build strong family and community connections. I look forward to welcoming you and your child to our wonderful centre.
