Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start reception.

Goodstart Hope Valley has been invaluable to our family unit. The staff have been supportive and understanding to our specific needs. My child has thrived under the care and guidance of the staff. He has learnt some very important and appropriate emotional regulation, both from the staff and his peers. The 'real time' information provided has eased my anxiety, knowing what he is up to at any time of the day. The general feel of the centre is calm and relaxed with great atmosphere all round. Since my daughter started in January of 2021 (6 months old), the centre has been a warm, welcoming and happy space for her to grow, learn and explore. The amazing staff in the Nursery rooms helped me more than they'll ever know, taking the lead on introducing her to new foods and textures. Throughout the years she has bonded so closely with many of the staff, though some have moved on, she embraces the new staff quickly. Special mention to Michelle and her amazing kindy program, getting her ready for big school and growing her confidence so much in such a short time.

Hello, my name is Sandra and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Hope Valley.
With over 22 years of experience in early childhood education and care — including 14 years in leadership roles — I’m deeply passionate about supporting children and their families through these important early years. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and my greatest joy comes from watching each child grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
I believe that strong, trusting relationships with families are the foundation of a successful early learning journey. At Goodstart Hope Valley, I’m committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space where children, families, and educators feel supported and valued every day.
