Welcome to Goodstart Springfield Lakes, your local early learning centre where connection, care and curiosity shape every child’s day.
Located on Yuggera land, near Lions Stadium and just minutes from Centenary Highway, our purpose-built space supports children across nursery, toddler, and kindergarten learning spaces.
We pride ourselves on creating strong relationships with families and delivering learning in small group settings, which allows us to make it more personalised.
With a multicultural team and inclusive approach, we ensure every child feels safe and welcome. Book a tour today and see what makes us special.
Families often tell us how comfortable they feel leaving their children in our care – thanks to the deep connections we build and the consistency of our team.
Our classrooms are designed to foster curiosity and development, focusing on early language and emotional wellbeing. From our vibrant toddler rooms to our supportive kindergarten program, children grow through play, discovery and nurturing routines.
We work closely with working families to meet their needs and schedules, and our team is highly qualified. Three teachers with bachelor’s degrees plan our play-based curricula tailored to children’s strengths and interests.
Ready to see how we can support your family and ignite your child’s lifelong love for learning? Take a tour – we can’t wait to meet you.
At Goodstart Springfield Lakes, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.
We prioritise:
Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners.
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.
At our Goodstart Springfield Lakes centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.
At Goodstart, we believe all children deserve the best possible start in life, which includes access to high-quality early childhood education and care. We offer:
We work closely with parents to ensure the individual needs, interests and strengths of children are considered, and our learning goals reflect them. Using Storypark, a wonderful communication platform, we stay in close touch with families and ensure you're well informed about your child's development and achievements.

I have been working in the Early Childhood Education and Care profession and with Goodstart since 2011, and have been a Centre Director since 2019.
Since joining Goodstart I have held many roles, working from an apprentice educator through to now a Centre Director. I have four children of my own, who all attended Goodstart centres, so I understand what a family juggles when making the choice to leave their most precious little people in the hands of others.
I hold my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and have also completed an Undergraduate Certificate of the Bachelor of Early Years Education. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunities I have had to continue to enhance my knowledge, practices and interest as an Early Childhood Professional and I have experience working across all age groups.
I enjoy coming in to see smiling faces and being a part of observing the children’s development thriving while building strong, solid relationships with our educators through the Key Educator Relationship Approach and engaging in the programs our educators offer.
I strive to provide our children and families with high-quality service from the moment you walk through our doors or engage in a phone enquiry for the first time; through to your experience in our learning environments, programs and the relationships built with our highly qualified, skilled and passionate educators.
I am passionate about people and believe that our team on the floor, in the thick of the action are our beating heart and truly believe if we invest in our team, we invest in all aspects of our centre, especially the quality of education and care we provide for our children.
Our educators are passionate about being culturally safe and developmentally inclusive and have a range of experience and dedication educating the children we care for each and every day.
Children’s first experiences in early childhood education should be positive as it establishes a positive attitude to not only formal learning, but also sets them up for life.
We aim to be the centre of choice and look forward to meeting you and welcoming your family and children into our Goodstart Springfield Lakes family.
