Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hello, my name is Fiona and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart South Hurstville Centre.
Hello and welcome!
I’m Fiona Landy, the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning South Hurstville. With 30 years in the early childhood industry, I’ve held various roles, gaining valuable insights into the significance of delivering exceptional quality in Early Education and Care services. I’ve also enjoyed the role of Trainer and Assessor for a registered training organization, where I had the privilege of shaping future educators.
In 2005, I earned my Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) and have since focused primarily on preschool-age children. Joining Goodstart in 2019 as a preschool teacher in Menai, I’ve progressed to become a Centre Director for multiple Goodstart services. As a mother of two, my children inspire me to continually strive for excellence in teaching.
I invite you to meet our dedicated and established team at Goodstart South Hurstville, who are passionate about forming strong connections with children, families, and the community.
