Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote Key Educator relationships between our educators and children.
Our Key Educator Relationships build strong, secure, reciprocal relationship between each child, their family, and our educators.
Your child will have at least one Key Educator who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
We keep in touch with families via the Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights, newsletters and Facebook page; to ensure open and clear communication.
This supports us to tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
We keep families informed with regular updates on their child's progress and we welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
With our approved kindergarten program, early childhood teachers and long day care hours, we're a great alternative to school-based kindergartens.
Our three kindergarten teachers are diploma qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

I absolutely love the staff at Edgewater. They are friendly, down to earth kind hearted ladies who love what they do. My daughter talks about them as her friends and always wants to share milestones and stories from the weekend with them. They care so much for her, and it really shows by the bond they have. The centre is well equipped, and the programs offered are fun and varied. Would 100% recommend the centre to anyone.

Best Daycare in the area! I have done many tours of daycares around the joondalup/woodvale/edgewater area and nothing compares to goodstart edgewater! My kids have been here for the last 15 months. They are the most lovely and patient educators. Very clean facilities. Highly recommend, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Hi, I’m Jen, the new Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Edgewater.

I have 12 years’ experience working in the Early Education and Care sector and I am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher from Ireland. I have been in Australia for the past 10 years and strongly believe in the importance of Early Education in the first 5 years of a child's life for developing skills and relationships that set the foundation for their future success and wellbeing.

Quality play-based learning has a significant role in a child’s development, fostering creativity, social skills, problem-solving abilities, emotional regulation, language proficiency and curiosity.

The team and I at Goodstart Edgewater implement this through following the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards through our program, environments, and experiences available to the children every day.

At Edgewater, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof.
