Children learn by socialising, watching, being, doing and copying and here at Goodstart Dunsborough we promote this by providing a flexible and adaptable curriculum that is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. We want you and your children to feel a sense of belonging and ownership within our child care centre.

Our educators provide a warm and caring environment where bonds are created, enabling your children to gain the trust of our educators, which in turn enables your children to become effective and confident learners through exploration, commitment, enthusiasm and persistence. Collaborative relationships with our families lead to open communications, therefore allowing the children’s needs and wants to be supported and achieved. We understand that our families and educators are our local community and this fosters a strong link between centre and home.

Here at Goodstart Dunsborough we use an online program called Storypark which allows you to see and learn more of your child's day. Our educators will send you updates, photos and videos while they work with your child. The program gives you a better understanding of your child's learning, you can input into the program too and it’s a great way for you to engage with us. You can also invite family members and friends who are anywhere in the world.

Venture outside and we have a wonderful world of fun and natural play, with a balance of natural and manmade elements to help stoke the children's imaginations. We have lots of climbing equipment, veggie gardens, large games, sandpits, and bikes.

Our educators are part of our local Dunsborough community and are valued for their individuality and culture. As a team we go above and beyond to ensure your children are central to everything we do. We have a commitment to continuous improvement through development and training for our educators and enjoy working in partnership with you to provide the best care possible for you and your children.

Hi, my name is Bev, I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Dunsborough.

I moved from the UK to Australia in 2013 with my husband and 4 teenage children and have been in the child care industry since 2005.

I am passionate about early years development and my goal as Centre Director at Dunsborough is to work collaboratively with my team to develop a warm and welcoming environment that engages and inspires children to learn.

It is important to me that our families feel supported, and our service is valued within the community, enhancing the opportunities for children in our care to learn and develop their ever-evolving skills.

As a Child Protection Advocate for Goodstart, I am committed to the safeguarding of children and promote awareness of child protection issues.

I look forward to welcoming you to our centre and introducing you to our team.
