Goodstart Hampton Park - Somerville Road
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Hampton Park - Somerville Road caters for children from six weeks to five years of age and is located close to local schools, shops and is within walking distance of multiple bus stop.
We have a strong team of dedicated educators that provide a fun and engaging education program that is based on the individual needs and interests of each child, and in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework. We have a strong commitment to provide a high standard of care and education to our families and the community.
Our educators are from diverse cultural backgrounds and are fluent in some of the local community languages. All team members have successfully completed Certificate III, Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education, with ongoing professional development opportunities encouraged. Our educators have a variety of experience, knowledge and cultural diversity which enriches our program through their values and beliefs.
Outside we have open and shaded play spaces enabling the children to explore, learn about the environment around them and the importance of sustainaibility, as well as stretch their imaginations. We have sandpits, climbing frames, slides, vege patches, worm farms, diggin patches and lots of space to run.
Our on-site cooks provide nutritionally-balanced meals, freshly prepared each day incorporating dietary requirements such as Halal, vegetarian and vegan needs also catered for. All meals, nappies, linen, sunscreen and hygiene products are included.

Families represent a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. We offer a variety of events that celebrate our children's cultures including Australia Day, Chinese New Year, NAIDOC week, Vietnamese Mid-Autumn festival, Cambodian Royal Ploughing day, Diwali and many more.
We communicate with families via email, newsletters, daily communication sheets/books and quality conversations face-to-face during drop-offs and pick-ups. Goodstart Hampton Park Somerville Road hosts events and open days throughout the year and invites all families and the local community to come and join the fun.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.

It excites me greatly to introduce myself as the Centre Director at Goodstart Somerville road Hampton Park.
My name is Meena, and I have been with Goodstart for 12 years.
I’m passionate in supporting each child to have their best day possible, with this come recognising each child individually and what a great day means to them. The first 5 years in a child’s life are the most important, this is when all the neurological pathways are forming and strengthening in a child’s brain. The more positive interactions a child has in this time the more pathways are formed. I pride myself on this and ensuring that each child’s day is filled with learning, love, growth, exploration, and creativity.
I’m so excited to continue to strengthen my relationships with you and your child and support on their growth and development.
Our team is highly experienced, with many years in the education field and we look forward to spending the first five years with you and your family.
