Our vision is to ensure that all families and children are supported and feel safe, secure and supported whilst at the service. The team all understand the importance of finding that perfect place for your little one, one that inspires, is respectful, inclusive, fun and supportive.
Our Key educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our outdoor learning spaces have great equipment, and fun things to do that both support children's physical, social and intellectual development.
We have a wonderful cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are halal, healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods and specific dietary requirements.
Yes we offer a state approved funded kindergarten program.

Hi, I’m Yashmin Sidhu, Centre Director at Goodstart Dandenong - Princes Highway.

I’ve been a part of the Goodstart community since 2022, starting as an Early Childhood Teacher, and I became Centre Director in 2024. I take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Dandenong - Princes Highway.

With over 15 years of experience in the Early Childhood industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of services, both private and not-for-profit, in Australia and New Zealand.

My Early Learning Values:
I strongly believe that your child’s first experiences in early childhood education should be positive, as they lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

What I love about our community:

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
