Goodstart Early Learning Kings Meadows first opened its doors in June 2004. Our centre’s educators are dedicated and nurturing and all enjoy being active members of the Goodstart Early Learning community.

The centre is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.30pm, and offers full day care. We have 106 places and 5 rooms that cater for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. The centre offers a fantastic educational program that is age appropriate and tailored to each child’s needs and abilities.

Individual, small group and large group experiences are encouraged throughout the day, and implemented to support each child’s development.

Goodstart Kings Meadows also promotes sibling interactions with family grouping sessions in both the morning and afternoon. The centre offers a very extensive orientation process and welcomes families to take advantage of this. Our philosophy supports our centre vision which is to create a nurturing, happy and fun place to be, filled with rich, engaging environments that promote confident, successful lifelong learners.

Hi, I’m Anika Lockhart and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Kings Meadows.

I have worked in the Early childhood Education and Care sector since 2008 and have been a Goodstart Employee since 2013 where I have worked across all three of our northern centres and held many roles including Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director and now Centre Director.

I am very passionate about providing high quality early learning for all children. I believe relationships and communication are key to high quality outcomes for children and this is embedded in our service through our Key Educator Approach and community connections.

Here at Goodstart Kings Meadows, we have an amazing team who all are passionate about providing children and families with high quality of care and learning.
