About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Blackwood is a beautiful purpose-built centre located in the Adelaide Hills, in the lush leafy suburb of Blackwood. This is an old, established, close knit community and community pride is paramount. We are close to local shops and schools as well as community services.

Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. The children have lots of fun playing in our spacious yard with a big sand pit, climbing equipment, and garden beds.

We provide high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Using the Early Years Learning Framework to guide our education program and scaffold children’s learning, our educators are passionate and committed to providing nurturing and simulating early learning environment. With a strong commitment and focus to create a warm and welcoming community focused centre, we look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

Goodstart Blackwood is a wonderful childcare centre that has and continues to provide our daughters with a warm, caring and supportive environment to learn, grow and develop. What sets Goodstart Blackwood apart from other centres is the staff's emphasis on building strong relationships with both children and their families. Goodstart Blackwood is a fabulous childcare and we wholeheartedly recommend this centre. We couldn't have found a better place for our child. Centre Director

Hello, my name is Vanessa Rameh, I have over 28 years of experience in the childcare industry and over 11 years as a Director, therefore I bring with me a wealth of knowledge.

I like to provide pedagogical leadership to ensure the provision of high quality care that is vibrant, interesting and varied, ensuring effective leadership, management, direction and support to staff and families with communication and team work being a key priority.

I am also a busy mum of five, having two girls of my own and three step children.

I believe in providing holistic, natural and relaxed home like environments for our children to explore and learn within.

I am excited to embark on this wonderful journey at Goodstart Blackwood and look forward to getting to know all our beautiful children and families and meeting new families in the local area.
