Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Pimpama.

We're a newly renovated centre with 20 years in our unique community, featuring tailored outdoor spaces, and long-term, skilled educators. We focus on excellent communication with our families and personalised learning journeys for every child.

Goodstart Pimpama has been a proud part of our unique community for over 20 years. We cater for children from six weeks to preschool age.

We are located in a rural Gold Coast area directly opposite Ormeau state school, 700 meters from Ormeau train station and 900 meters off the M1. We have ample onsite parking available at the front of our services to make drop off and pick up stress free.

Our centre and playground are newly renovated. Our outside areas are shaded, age appropriate with slides, bush huts, sand pits and much more for the children to explore and build on their interests and strengths. We have 4 separate outdoor areas that all age appropriate and set up according to children’s interests, strengths and emerging skills.

We have long term, highly qualified educators and excellent educational programs. Our dedicated educators’ have been with us on average 4-5 years and we have a few over 10 years which offers great stability to our children and allows us to build long-lasting relationships with families. We are proud to have a team of qualified educators at our centre with all Educators either holding a Diploma of Children’s Services or Certificate III of Children’s Services.

At Goodstart Pimpama we believe communication is the key in ensuring continuity of care for children and families. Each child also has a personal learning journal that captures children’s interest, friendships and their learning journey throughout the year.

At Goodstart Pimpama we believe in fostering a love of learning from an early age. Our curriculum is designed to cater to each child's individual needs, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development through play-based learning activities.

Safety is our top priority and we look after our centres. They're intentionally designed to make the best use of our early learning resources and our settings are enriching and engaging. From spacious outdoor play areas to well-appointed learning spaces, we'll have many things that meet your child's interests and individual needs. 
If your child attends childcare with us, they can stay with us until they start school. At Goodstart Pimpama we offer a government-assessed and approved kindergarten program. This curriculum is designed as a part of the Australian government's early years learning framework and it's delivered by bachelor-qualified early childhood teachers. This early education program applies across the country with school readiness in mind.

My name is Kate and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Pimpama .

Welcome to Goodstart Pimpama!

My name is Kate Willis, and I have the honour of leading our Homely and inclusive community here in Pimpama, on the land of the Yugambeh people. With 24 years of experience in early childhood education and care, I'm deeply passionate about creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique potential.

My background

I began my journey when I was 17 with only babysitting experience, which ignited my passion for early learning. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to complete my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care along with developing a deeper understanding of child psychology and brain development.

My early childhood philosophy

I believe every child learns in their own way and that we need to focus on each child individually and adjust to them and their families. For me, it's all about play based learning, relationships with children and inclusivity.

Goodstart Pimpama is special because we have long term team staff and are recognised within our community for our inclusivity. Every day, I'm inspired by the smiles, laughter, and learning that happen within our walls.

Structured Kindergarten Program

At Pimpama, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
