Goodstart Pacific Paradise

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Pacific Paradise is located five minutes’ drive from Mudjimba Beach – close to schools, shops and parks as well as transport routes.

We are a five room centre, caring for children aged six weeks to six years – that’s Nursery through to Kindergarten.  We also provide before and after school care and vacation care for children up to the age of twelve.
 
Inside, the rooms are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

We also adhere closely to the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and My Time, Our Place, and all children are observed on an ongoing basis to ensure that they are developing their life skills to their full potential. 
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. The centre has a water pond and river, so in the warmer months we can cool down while having fun and developing our sensory skills.  All of our rooms have their own yards for the children to explore and play within.
 
Our staff are experienced and qualified educators, who provide stimulating educational programs on a daily basis. All children are encouraged to involve themselves in a variety of activities during the day with support from a caring educator to help extend their learning based on each child’s interests.
 
Our Kindergarten program at Goodstart Pacific Paradise has access to the Board Learn Program and Internet through our innovative multi touch Lenovo Tablet system which allows the children to explore computer technology, while supporting both children’s emerging interests and school readiness.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
