Goodstart Early Learning Manunda is a warm and inviting childcare centre, perfectly situated near schools, TAFE, and a shopping centre. Hello, my name is Chanice Rixon, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Manunda.
I have had the privilege of leading this centre since November 2024.
I hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and take great pride in overseeing both the educational programs and the care provided at Goodstart Manunda. With over 16 years of experience in the early childhood sector, I have held various roles in centre operations and have worked across both private and not-for-profit services throughout Australia.
My Educational Philosophy:
I firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive a high-quality education that allows them to thrive, particularly during the critical early years before the age of five.
What I Love About Our Community:
I am inspired by the strong sense of unity within the Manunda community. Local organizations collaborate seamlessly to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.
A Little More About Me:
Originally from the Blue Mountains, NSW, my family and I relocated to Cairns in 2022. We were drawn to the stunning landscapes and the close-knit community that Cairns offers, and we’ve been thrilled to call it home.
