Goodstart Early Learning Burleigh Waters is a purpose built Centre located on the Waterfront, catering for 65 children each day. We are close to shops, amenities and local schools. Daily pick up and drop offs are easy with plenty of parking and situated on a quiet street.

We educate Children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Links with the schools and our local community are an important part of our practice. Our curriculum is aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and the QLD Kindergarten guidelines. We have two Early Child Hood Teachers in Kindergarten, and all of our Educators are Diploma qualified, highly experienced and long term staff members.

As part of the learning experience, we have three separate playgrounds with running areas, climbing equipment, sand pits, mud kitchen, waterfront fishing, and gardens which ensure Children have a variety of space to explore and discover. We also provide a specialised program to ensure inclusion for all Children, with Yoga, Language, Sports program, Computer studies, dance and drama, healthy mind and healthy body. These learning experiences are at no extra charge and delivered each day by qualified Educators.

We also embed the Key Educator practice throughout the centre. Smaller groups and key Educators to provide strong relationships between Children, Families and Educators.

Hi there! I'm Lee Stacey Green

I have been working with Goodstart Early Learning for almost 18 years. The past 8 years as Centre Director with Burleigh Waters.

I have 2 adult sons who are still living at home, plus my 2 four legged boys, who I enjoy walking on the beach, every morning before the sunrises. You will find me anywhere near the water in my spare time.

I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and the importance of ensuring exceeding quality learning for all Children. I am proud to lead a team of professional, equally dedicated, long term staff members, sharing the same goals and visions.

It is important that all Children and families’ individual beliefs and cultures are recognised, acknowledged and supported. We follow a holistic approach to teaching and believe all Children are competent and capable learners. The learning curriculum is based on the “Image of child” and heavily Reggio Emilia influenced.
Key Educator relationships ensure meaningful and authentic connections with Children and families.
