Goodstart Early Learning Boronia Heights - MacKellar Drive is located close to schools and shops but has the peace and quiet of a residential area.

We cater to children from 15 months to 5 years old – with Toddler, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten rooms. 

Our centre has a range of long standing highly qualified educators which have been at the child care centre between 3 years to 15 years. Our educators range in age and experience, all holding relevant qualifications. We have an Early Childhood Teacher who has been with Goodstart MacKellar Drive for 5 years and runs our government funded Kindergarten program which prepares the children for school.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Toddlers to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
 
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with a variety of natural elements, garden spaces, a water pump, dry creek bed and a vegetable garden. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
 
We have a range of nationalities within the child care centre and aim to support and encourage involvement with all families at the centre. Our community is very broad and we play an essential role in providing education and care for the children in the area. Our Centre Director and educators are always available to recommend families to organisations or services during stressful times.
 
Goodstart Boronia Heights MacKellar Drive values communicating and partnering with families and we communicate with families using a variety of mediums including face-to-face, newsletters, emails, notes and phone calls. We share updates on the programs in your child’s room through photos, individual learning journals and our wonderful Storypark platform

We have an open door policy within the centre and encourage orientation days before starting child care to ensure a smooth settling in with the centre.
 
Our centre provides three meals for the children with a nutritional menu incorporating daily dietary requirements.
