About Goodstart Baringa
Our revolutionary $3.7 million centre features a 952 square metre outdoor play environment. We are a 126 placed centre and we have two Kindergarten programs with Early Childhood Teachers in both and offer Bush Kinder as well as a sports program weekly.
The centre is located directly opposite Baringa State Primary school which offers a STEM focused curriculum. We work closely with the local community and school to ensure that our curriculum is not only STEM based but also reflects the values of our local community.

Hi, my name is Jacky and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Baringa.
I have been in the Early Learning sector since 1998, starting in my own family day-care and then moving into long day care.
I have worked for Goodstart Early learning since 2004 and started in my role as a Centre Director in 2011 whilst living in Victoria in Ballarat. After moving back to Queensland in 2015, I was the Centre Director of Goodstart Early learning Nambour City View Terrace – where during my time we were the proud recipients of several awards and opened an onsite Bush Kinder. I moved over to Goodstart Baringa as part of the opening crew in 2019 and have been proud of the work we have done as a team here to achieve an exceeding rating in all 7 areas after only being open for 12 months.
I firmly believe that the first five years are the most important in a child’s life. My team and I pride ourselves in creating an inviting and stimulating environment at our centre, and are committed to providing each child with the best possible start in life.
I am passionate about nature play and ensuring that all children have a voice that should be heard. I believe we have a responsibility to make sure our children have access to high quality care. It is a passion I share with my exceeding team, who I am so fortunate and proud to work alongside of. Our team has years of experience and dedication and share our centres vision “Where we nurture; respect, kindness and wonder”.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
