Goodstart Early Learning has partnered with the City of Sydney to operate The Crescent Early Learning Centre.
Constructed in late 2016, the custom designed centre was created to provide much-needed long day care and early learning places for parents living or working in the inner suburbs of Sydney. Catering for 80 children, the centre features five age-based playrooms, a large, fully landscaped purpose-built outdoor playground and dedicated drop off/pick up zones available for safe and easy access for families.
Open from 7am – 6pm, 52 weeks per year (except Public Holidays), the centre provides long day care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and incorporates a dedicated Preschool Program for children from 3 – 5 years, delivered by University Qualified Early Learning Teachers and supported by the expertise of a national network.
Located centrally in Annandale, the centre is only a 12 minute drive to Sydney’s CBD, close to landmarks such as Sydney University, Broadway and Anzac Bridge and immediately adjacent to Federal Park and the recently revitalised Harold Park precinct.
Enrol now!
When every moment counts, make them Goodstart moments.
Hello my name is Jess. I am the Centre Director at The Crescent Early Learning.
If you are new to the area or looking for an education and care setting for your child/ren, book a tour with us and see what we are all about!
Having 10 years experience in the sector I have worked for both privately owned Services and not-for-profit organisations and hold a Master's in Teaching (0 - 5) and Education with a specialisation in leadership. Coming back to my roots at Goodstart I chose an organisation that put's children, families and educator's at the heart of everything they do. The value we place on community, inclusion, and relationships backed by a culture of continuous professional development creates a safe space for children with enriched learning opportunities and interactions so they can be their best selves.
Here at The Crescent we are fortunate to have such a vibrant outdoor space that lends itself to authentic sustainable practices and learning about care for country. Our team of educators advocate for children's capabilities and agency in learning in a flexible indoor outdoor environment. Your child will have a Key Educator who will work in partnership with yourselves to provide feedback on and plan for your child's individual learning journey with us. Our Assistant Director and Educational Leader Emma Scallan is also here to help guide Educator's and children and answer any questions about why we do what we do.
I truly am looking forward to meeting you and your family. Come and say hi!
